Editor and files
- What is WoodPath?
A parametric editor for slatted wooden panels. You set the measures and a pattern, check the panel in 3D and download DXF or SVG files to cut on a CNC.
- Do I need a login to use the editor?
No. The basic editor works without a login and the project stays saved in this browser. An account lets you keep a copy in the cloud and subscribe to a plan.
- Which formats does WoodPath export?
DXF and SVG. G-code is not available yet: convert the DXF or SVG in the software your machine uses.
Fabrication
- How do I check the measures before cutting?
Open the Fabricação tab (the editor is currently in Portuguese only) and check the parts on each sheet. Measures are in millimetres. Before the final panel, make a test cut on a leftover piece of the sheet.
- How do sheets and nesting work?
Nesting fits the parts onto the sheets to reduce waste. The calculation runs on your device. A part larger than the sheet is flagged, so you can adjust the measures or the sheet.
Account and plans
- How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancel whenever you like in Account → Your subscription. Paid access continues until the end of the period you already paid for; after that the account goes back to Free. Purchased files stay yours. On the Free plan, cloud projects become read-only: you can open them, download a copy and delete them. To edit and save to the cloud again, subscribe to Plus or Pro.
- Do I need a subscription to download DXF and SVG?
No. The Free plan exports DXF and SVG without a required ad before the download. Paid plans remove the ads and add features.
Store
- Do store files require a subscription?
No. Ready-made files are one-time purchases, with no monthly plan.
- What happens to purchased files if I cancel my subscription?
They stay yours. Cancelling a subscription does not revoke one-time purchases.
Privacy
- Where is my project data stored?
Measures, pattern, nesting and files are calculated on your device. Without a login, the project stays in the browser. It only goes to the cloud if you save it to your account.
